So, I'm unemployed at the moment, it's been 2 months and I'm still job hunting. At least in that time I've managed to get some art done!

Here, have some fan art! I got the idea from watching this scene [link] in the latest episode of Sword Art Online (episode 22) and from a banner my friends recently bought me from Japan, which features two One Piece characters facing opposite directions. I tried to incorporate elements from both SAO and Alfheim Online (hence the swords being Asuna and Kirito's SAO weapons). I really wanted to push myself, and try a new, whimsical style of art and I'm actually quite happy with it!

I'm not 100% happy with Yui's face at the moment, and there's still a few things I need to fix up. My computer starting lagging out if I zoomed past 50% so I'm going to have to come back to it.

Took abouuuut, probably close to 30hours! Sketched, coloured and everything else in photoshop cs6 with my wacom intuios 3 tablet.

Very nice! I love the composition and the poses of Kirito and Asuna. The texture and feel of it looks really neat. Definitely faving. :)
